Crystal Lynn Garnett stays at Alaska Backcountry Cottages

Crystal Garnett and Family

Alaska Backcountry Cottages provides an unparalleled relaxing stay, however resting isn’t the only reason quests stay at the cottages. For Crystal Garnett, AKBCC was a “writing retreat” to finish the final details of the project she is currently working on. Crystal lives in Eagle River, Alaska and drove the 30 miles to get away for a night and remove all distractions.

Crystal is an amazing woman!  Wife and mother of two she is an author/speaker/teacher, and most importantly a homemaker, who sincerely loves the Lord and spends her energy helping others.   Crystal is from Prescott, Arizona where she graduated high school. Now she studies with the Liberty University Online program.

Crystal has written about her faith in Titus Two Women, sharing her personal development opportunities. Including an intense experience of being diagnosed with leukemia last year.

After returning from her “writing retreat”, Cristal was pleased to report that the peace and solitude she experienced was what she needed to stay focused on her writing project!

I look forward to reading more of Crystal’s insights and wisdom she shares on her blog. I’m delighted to hear Alaska Backcountry Cottages assisted Crystal in her work!

Fantastic!

What a great place! Everything you need and very well designed. Great amount of counter space 👌. The views out the front window and deck are fantastic. – Mike H.

Highly Recommended!

This place is wonderful! The view of the mountain range is excellent and the spot is secluded if your looking to wind down. Highly recommended if you are wanting to adventure in the Palmer-Wasilla area. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner left milk, a few eggs, coffee, oatmeal and snacks for us. It was a nice surprise. – Courtney D.
