by | Dec 7, 2023

Nestled amidst the pristine wilderness of Alaska lies the haven of Alaska Backcountry Cottages, offering an unparalleled retreat for those seeking solace after a day at Colony Christmas and Palmer’s bustling celebrations.

This weekend we still have a few cottages available.  Take a look and see if our available days work for you!

Choose from our two cottage styles – with or without a loft. Both styles are stand-alone, full-service, cottages, with all the amenities needed to feel at home. Our smaller cottages house 4 guests with two queen size beds, and the larger cottages have 3 queen size beds with a maximum capacity of 6. If cooking is your passion, our kitchens have everything you need to prepare a feast of your own, all you need to bring is the food! If you’d rather take advantage of others doing the cooking, local restaurants are just fifteen minutes away!

After enjoying the magic of the season at the Colony Christmas there’s no better place to relax than at Alaska Backcountry Cottages

Whether you’re drawn by the allure of the picturesque surroundings or seeking a peaceful escape amidst the holiday rush, our cottages provide the ideal retreat.

Fantastic!

What a great place! Everything you need and very well designed. Great amount of counter space 👌. The views out the front window and deck are fantastic. – Mike H.

Highly Recommended!

This place is wonderful! The view of the mountain range is excellent and the spot is secluded if your looking to wind down. Highly recommended if you are wanting to adventure in the Palmer-Wasilla area. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner left milk, a few eggs, coffee, oatmeal and snacks for us. It was a nice surprise. – Courtney D.
