They Knew They’d Return

by | May 9, 2021

Jane and Clint stayed with us the last week of March 2021 and fell in love with Alaska Backcountry Cottages! They told me from day one they would return!

Jane from Kansas and Clint from Nebraska had  moved to Alaska together as a married couple where Clint was stationed. We at AKBCC are thankful for his service!  After Clint retired, and while Jane works with the Matsu school district, the couple made Alaska their permanent residence!

Both Clint and Jane planned to return to AKBCC as soon as possible!  When one of Jane’s friends was celebrating her birthday, AKBCC was the perfect place for a girls night out!  The Stay-Cation AKBCC provided was indescribable!

The three friends loved everything about the cottages, the spacious but cozy feeling inside with all the amenities needed to feel at home. The decorations were so beautiful and everything seemed well thought out! Their stay was truly relaxing.

Stepping outside, the view was amazing! Situated in the heart of the Knik River glacial Valley and nestled in the beautiful backyard of the Chugach Mountains, the sight was stunning!

I’m confident Clint and Jane will be back again! I am so grateful to be part of Alaska Backcountry Cottages!  My husband really did make his dream come true for all to enjoy!

Fantastic!

What a great place! Everything you need and very well designed. Great amount of counter space 👌. The views out the front window and deck are fantastic. – Mike H.

Highly Recommended!

This place is wonderful! The view of the mountain range is excellent and the spot is secluded if your looking to wind down. Highly recommended if you are wanting to adventure in the Palmer-Wasilla area. The cottage was clean and the bed was comfortable. The owner left milk, a few eggs, coffee, oatmeal and snacks for us. It was a nice surprise. – Courtney D.
